In this whimsical piece the artist has captured the essence of NGC 1087, a swirling galaxy located in the Cetus Constellation. The work echoes the dynamic beauty observed in the Hubble-Webb Space Telescope image, where vibrant dust and gas swirl around new star formations. Young stars flicker in shades of blue and pink, while the older stars emanate a warm, yellowish hue, creating a mesmerizing contrast. The artist was particularly captivated by the serendipitous formation of a heart at the center of the galaxy, another kind of monster a supermassive black hole lurks at the centre of NGC 2525.
